About the event
V loves bringing people together around delicious healthy food. She is passionate about creating unique menus that reflect the season and support our local farms. Menu:
Nettle, Potato + Mint Soup drizzled with nettle-infused olive oil topped with wild herb breadcrumbs
Basil Strawberry Farro Salad with local goat feta + spiced pecans tossed in a white balsamic vinaigrette
Miso Polenta topped with falafel, spring veggies and gremolata
Orange Cardamom Flan topped with roasted pistachios + Mexican chocolate shavings
Vegetarian, locally + seasonally-focused + GF upon request!
Cash bar at event with a signature cocktail, beer and wine.
My name is Violaine but people call me V. I’m a hospitality nerd, local foodie, dabbling herbalist and community-builder. I'm obsessed with locally, seasonally and regeneratively grown food from farmers that I know and love supporting. I believe eating as much of our diet from nearby is the way to go. When you know where your food comes from and how it was grown, it changes how you cook with it and how it makes you feel. My hope is by fostering a relationship with the food we eat, we also connect more intimately with ourselves, our community and nature.
I’ve been creating seasonally-inspired supper clubs for 4 years and they are my jam! My style of cooking is simple, innovative, inspired by nature and will leave you feeling nourished, both physically and mentally. These supper clubs are one-of-a-kind experiences because the food, the vibe and the people are unique to that moment in time.
